My top 7 gas & bloat busting tips There are few things in life more uncomfortable than bloating, gas and flatulence! There are many issues that cause it – and these can be different for everyone – but these are a few of the top ways to not only improve your symptoms, but get rid of the issue for good! Here’s to that! 1.       Connect with food-   Play food detective to figure out what agrees with you and what doesn’t. Be honest! Dairy and gluten can cause immediate bloating for many people. Next time you eat something you suspect does not make you feel well, write down your symptoms and try removing the food from your diet for a few weeks. Dairy and gluten-free diets are generally the most effective at reducing gas & bloating for most people. 2.       Pop a digestive enzyme   with each main meal. It will help break down the food into smaller compounds that can be more easily absorbed and digested by your system . 3.       Drink ginger and chamomile

HOW I STOPPED STRESS EATING!

HOW I STOPPED STRESS EATING! The next time you sit down to eat a meal, do one thing for me: connect with your body and become aware of how you’re feeling. Are you feeling stressed or relaxed? Are you holding on? Is your stomach starting to clench? Are you feeling scared /anxious? Is your heart racing? Or perhaps you feel calm and present? You may be excited about your food or you may start to feel guilty about what you are about to eat. These are some of the emotions I used to feel every time I sat down to a plate of food. However, it doesn’t have to be like this — here’s my advice: My advice: ·          Next time you sit down to a meal – take 3 long deep breathes and relax your entire body. ·          Try your best to remove all judgment about what you are about to eat – instead focus on slowly enjoying each mouthful. Judgment around food causes stress which makes it actually harder to digest that food. Remember that 80% of the time your goal is to eat nourishing wh

Throw out that weighing scale!!

HOW THROWING OUT THE WEIGHING SCALE WILL HELP YOU LOVE YOUR BODY! You are  not  defined by your weight – yet many people see that number on the scales as a measurement of their self-worth. This obsession increases your cortisol (stress hormone) levels, and makes weight loss and maintenance difficult. I used to be there. I’d see that silly number on the scale as a reflection of my self-esteem and insecurity. All that worry did me zero good – in fact, it was a huge stressor. If you weigh yourself and don’t like the number you see, you’re likely to feel less motivated to make healthy choices. You might write the rest of the day off, And feel negative or emotionally overeat. It’s a toxic cycle that breaks down that relationship with food and your body. Throw out the scales. It’s such a simple, yet super powerful tool that will help you heal your relationship with your body and food. Especially if you’re working on building up your self-confidence, body love o

Perfect Summer Body

Perfect & Balanced Summer Body All Women are beautiful! Their bodies are designed beautifully by God and it is our duty to find our balanced weight instead of running behind a perfect figure. Following are the 9 best ways to achieve your balanced weight: 1. Don't skip breakfast. Skipping breakfast increases hunger by the end of the day. 2. Eat regular meals and use smaller plates. Eating regular meals helps to reduce the temptation to snack on food that is high in fat and sugar. 3. Control the snacking. We control our larger meals, but throw water on all that effort by bulking up our snacks. Most of our mid-meal snacks are unhealthy. Have 1 small katori of fruits, nuts, sukha bhel, makhanas, jowar puffs, khakhra, popcorn as your snack and nothing else. BUT, don't have all of them at once! Have fruits of 3-4 colours in between your meals. 4. Avoid sugar. Refined sugar is bad not just for your blood sugar level or your cholesterol,
